Here is a guide to help you choose:

Small wrist (14-15 cm) → 15-16 links
Medium wrist (16-17 cm) → 17-18 links
Large wrist (18-19 cm) → 19-20 links

Each charm added increases the size of the bracelet, so if you buy 17 charms, you immediately get a complete bracelet.
